JU student found hanging in dormitory room

JU Live: A student of Jahangirnagar University (JU) has been found hanging at a residential hall. Deceased Arafat Siam was a student of 2015-2016 (45th batch) of Department of Physics at the university and a resident student of Mir Musharraf Hossain Hall. He was from Nilphamari district.
Siam's classmates found him hanging at his rooom no 115 of block B of the hall around 7pm on Tuesday.
After Maghrib prayer, his classmates went to his room and knocked on the door. Getting no response, they peeped through the window and found Siam in a hanging condition. Later, they broke open the door.
Siam was immediately taken to JU Medical center where he was declared dead by the on-duty doctor. A book titled 'Death: An Inside Story', written by Sadhguru, was found on his reading table.
Earlier, he posted a status on his Facebook in the early hours of April 3 discussing spiritual practice, death, soul, body, purpose of life, meditation etc.
