Integrity & HR Workshop: NU VC for efficient, honest & patriotic officials

NU Live: The officials have to be efficient, honest, accountable and patriotic to reach the goal, said National University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mashiur Rahman.

He was addressing as the chief guest at a daylong workshop on human resource development and annual performance agreement (APA) on Monday.

All officials and staff members should be imparted training by 2024, he opined. “Training enhances efficiency of the employees. It is a continuous process. Evaluation of the participants is also important. The good performers should be rewarded. They should be sent abroad for advance training.

An internal master plan is needed to put officials from top to bottom is needed. Training is a part of service. However, avoidance of official responsibilities on the pretext of training is unacceptable,” he said.
