IU observes Martyred Intellectuals Day

IU Live: The authorities of Islamic University (IU) observed Martyred Intellectuals Day in Kushtia Yesterday on the campus.
The University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari hoisted the national flag while its Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman hoisted the university flag in front of the university’s administrative building around 9:30am.
The teachers, officials, students and employees of the university brought a colorful procession led by the Vice-Chancellor from in front of the administrative building and ended the procession in front of Martyred memorial after parading main streets of the campus.
Later, the university authorities, IUTA, Bangabandhu Parisad, Shapla Forum, Zia Parisad, IU Press Club, IUJA and different halls, students and teachers associations placed floral wreaths at Martyred memorial.
