‘ERDFB’ launched to promote research on education

 

Live Correspondent: A new platform titled ‘Education, Research and Development Forum of Bangladesh (ERDFB) has been initiated for academicians to boost research in the education sector.

The organisers of the platform said this at a meeting held at Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Saturday, said a press release.

University Grants Commission (UGC) member Prof Sazzad Hossain, BUET Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Abdul Jabbar Khan and Barishal University Treasurer Prof Dr Mohammad Badruzzaman Bhuiyan spoke at the programme.

Addressing the occasion, Prof Sazzad Hossain said ERDFB has been launched for inclusive development in agriculture, industry innovation and other issues.

“The platform will support the country’s ongoing development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to achieve the goal of ‘Sonar Bangla’ dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” he hoped.

Teachers and researchers from different fields were present in the programme.
