Live Correspondent: The government is going to introduce new curriculum up to class XII from 2023 academic session.

According to the new syllabus, the final results of HSC will be formulated after combining the final results of class XI and XII examination.

There will no division of science, humanities and commerce in secondary level and there will be no annual exams until third grade.

There will also be no Primary Education Completion (PEC) examinations in Class 5 and Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations in Class 8.

Besides, there will be public examination in class 10 based on only the 10th class syllabus.

The development was made public by Education Minister Dipu Moni at a press conference at the Secretariat after presenting the National Curriculum Outline to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday.
