RU opens Sheikh Russel Model School

RU Live: The newly built 'Sheikh Russel Model School' at Rajshahi University (RU) campus has been opened today aimed at furthermore expansion of the school education area. RU authority established the school with its own initiative on 1.3 acres of land at a cost of around Taka 11.78 crore.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni opened the four-storey school building virtually urging all concerned to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty for qualitative and quantitative improvement of education.
She said there is no alternative to qualitative and quantitative education to boost the sector of competent human resources to take the nation furthermore ahead.
RU Vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar, Pro-VC Prof Chowdhury Jakaria and Registrar Prof Abdus Salam were present on the occasion in-persons.
The school has various facilities including Bangabandhu Corner, library, laboratory, IT Room, in-house sports arrangement, fire protection system, open stage and playground.
