No more JSC, JDC exams from this year

Live Correspondent: The government has decided to cancel the system of holding Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations, therefore, these examinations will not be held this year.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has approved the decision, said a press release issued by the Education Ministry on Monday. JSC and JDC examinations were also not mentioned in the newly introduced national curriculum.
“As the system of holding JSC and JDC public examinations was not kept in the national curriculum 2021, the matter of discontinuing the JSC and JDC examinations in 2022, 2023, and after these years could be considered. The Prime Minister approved the decision,” said the press release.
