Classes of govt primary schools to continue till April 6 as per previous declaration

 

 

Live Correspondent: The holiday of government primary schools across the country will not be extended as per the decision of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Primary and Mass Education.

Regarding the holiday of the month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr, the standing committee sat in a meeting on Wednesday at the office of the Directorate of Primary Education in the capital’s Mirpur area.  

In the meeting, it has been decided that the classes of government primary schools will continue till April 6 as per the previous declaration.

The holiday will begin on April 7. The holiday will continue till April 26 and classes will resume on April 27.  

Meeting sources informed me that primary school students’ lessons have been hampered due to the Covid-19 pandemic. To recover the losses, the education calendar has been prepared earlier and will be followed.
