Sports Live: Titas Sports (T-Sports), the country’s first-ever dedicated sports television channel, has reached 230 million people during the just-finished football world cup.

T Sports, a Bengali-language sports-oriented television channel owned by East West Media Group, a subsidiary of Bashundhara Group, covers all local and international sports events for sports fans.

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 brought life to the moribund world after years of the Covid-19 pandemic and Russia-Ukraine warfare.

Bangladeshi football lovers joined the procession of people from other parts of the globe spending euphoric moments amid the world cup football ending in the championship of Lionel Messi’s Argentina.

The people enjoyed the gifted performances of Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, and Mbappé with the blessings of the TV channels and became spellbound.

Being Bangladeshi-dedicated sports channel T-Sports came up with a live facility to enable local and overseas viewers to enjoy the tournaments and analysis through various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

According to statistics, T-Sports reached 170 million viewers through Facebook, 50 million viewers through YouTube, and 10 million viewers via TikTok.

However, the number of viewers of the channel hit 250 million on Monday and is expected to cross the 300 million mark by end of December.
