Inter-University Handball competition ends at DU

DU Live: The five-day Inter-University Handball competition ended at the central playground of Dhaka University (DU) on Thursday last. Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman distributed prizes among the winners of the Inter-University Handball competition as the chief guest, a DU press release said here today.

DU Handball Committee President Govind Chakraborty, Physical Education Center Acting Director Shahjahan Ali, teachers of various universities and officials of physical education centers were present on the occasion, the release added.

Several educational institutions including DU, Jahangirnagar University, Chattogram University, Rajshahi University, National University, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Islamic University and Bangladesh University of Professionals participated at the competition.

Dhaka University (male) and National University (female) became champions in the competition.
