“The present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is extending ICT services to the villages and the digital entrepreneurs have a vital role for reaching those to the grassroots people,” he said while addressing the closing ceremony of a daylong entrepreneur conference here yesterday as the chief guest.

State Minister said the digital centre entrepreneurs should take the responsibility of transforming the villages into towns through providing the ICT services to the grassroots people as the government intends to turn villages into towns.

In his remarks, ICT secretary Ziaul Alam said the grassroots people are getting their necessary information from the digital centres as those are also contributing a lot towards supplementing the government efforts of building ‘Digital Bangladesh’.
