"Scouting helps students to make disciplined life"

Live Correspondent: Scouters at a discussion have said scouting always helps students in making disciplined, systematic and peaceful life permeated with the spirit of wisdom and tranquility. Rangpur district unit of Bangladesh Scouts organised the discussion at the Scouts Bhaban to celebrate the 165th birth anniversary of the founder of scouting movement Robert Stephenson Smyth Lord Baden Powell (BP) on Wednesday afternoon.

The day was celebrated with programs including cutting a cake, different competitions with participation of scouts, girls in guide and young students and distribution of prizes.

Rangpur District Commissioner of Scouts and District Education Officer Roksana Begum attended the discussion as the chief guest. Secretary of Rangpur District Scouts Abdur Rahim, its Assistant Director Sudhir Chandra Barman, Treasurer Golam Azam Mantu, District Scouts Leader Rafikul Haque Babu, Deputy Regional Scouts Commissioner Siddikur Rahman, Scouters Mahbubul Alam Pramanik, Md. Akhteruzzman, Aleya Khatun, Tauhida Khatun ansd Shamsul Alam spoke.
