Theft of Nancy's national award: Husband sent to jail

 

Entertainment Live: A court in Dhaka has sent singer Nazmun Munira Nancy's husband and her domestic help in a case filed over the theft of her national award and other ornaments from her house.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rashidul Alam on Thursday passed the order against her husband Shakil and housemaid Tahmina after they were produced before the court.

Earlier on April 18, a trophy of the National Film Awards received by Nancy, and her other gold ornaments worth around Tk 3.21 lakh were stolen from her house in the capital.

Later, her brother Shahriar Aman Sunny filed a case with Gulshan Police Station in this connection.
