Five schools get new academic buildings

Live Correspondent: Four educational institutions of the district would get new academic building by June 2020. State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury laid the foundation of the four-storied buildings at a function at Dhukur Jhari College ground here today.
Assistant Engineer of the EED Mamun Islam said the contractors were asked to handover the newly constructed buildings to the school authorities by June 30, 2020.
Addressing a function on the occasion at Dhukur Jhari College ground Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said that the buildings would be modern ones and time-befitting which would have digital class room and better learning facilities. Each floor of the building woud have 3,200 cft space
Additional Secretary of the home ministry Md. Nurul Islam presided over the function while Chairman of Biral Upazila Md. Mostafizur Rahman Babu, president of Biral Upazila Awami League Abdul Latif, teacher Kaiser Ali and freedom fighter Arshed Ali spoke, among others, on the occasion.
