Ekushe memorial 'Bayanna' published in Rajibpur upazila

 

Kurigram Live: On the occasion of great Martyr's Day and International Mother Language Day, Ruhi Foundation has published the Ekushey memorial 'Bayanna' in memory of freedom fighters and language martyrs. General Secretary of Bangladesh Press Club Rajibpur Upazila Branch Md Zahidul Islam sponsored the memorial. On February 21 at 11 am, the Ekushe memorial was unveiled from the Rajibpur Upazila Parishad hall room.

Rajibpur upazila chairman Akbar Hossain Hero, upazila executive officer Amit Chakraborty, Rajibpur thana investigation (OC) Ataur Rahman, upazila Awami League president Abdul Hai Sarkar, editor of the book freedom fighter and writer Abdus Sabur Faruqi, officials of various departments of the upazila and chairmans were present as guests.

Amit Chakraborty said about the book, if this type of Swarnika is published consistently, the young generation will be interested in poetry, rhymes, and writings based on the liberation war and events behind the various struggles of the liberation war. I appreciate this work.

Freedom fighter Abdus Sabur Farooqui said, in 2018, we brought out 'Ucchas', a memorial to freedom, in 2022, we brought out 'Barnamala' memorial under the initiative of Bir Prateek Taraman Bibi Students Welfare Foundation. I have tried to express the thoughts of the young generation on Mother Language Day the the 'Bayanna' magazine. The PDF version of the book is available on the rajibpur dot com website.
