IU pays tribute to Bangabandhu

IU Live: Islamic University (IU) in kushtia has observed has observed the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day 2021with due dignity and solemnity on Sunday.
Marking the day, IU vice chancellor Prof M Shaikh Abdus Salam, pro vice-chancellor Prof M Mahbubur Rahman, treasurer Prof M Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan and acting registrar M Ataur Rahman paid homage to Bangabandhu by placing wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at “Mrittunjoyee Mujib”.
Later, different organizations, teachers, students and journalist association including Bangabandhu Parishad IU unit, Shapla Forum, IU
Teachers Association, IU Press Club, IU Reporters Unity and Bangaladesh Chattra League IU Unit placed wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu.
