KUET declared closed

KUET Live: Authorities has closed Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) until December 13 over the unstable situation on the campus following the death of a teacher. The authorities has also instructed students to leave their respective halls by 4 pm.
The decision was taken in a Syndicate meeting on Friday noon, the Vice-Chancellor Kazi Sajjad Hossain confirmed.
The development came as a tense situation has been prevailing on the campus since the death of Md Selim Hossain, a professor of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), on November 30.
