Prof Abdul Moyeen appointed as Cumilla University VC

CoU Live: Dr AFM Abdul Moyeen, a professor of Dhaka University's management department, has been appointed as the vice chancellor of Cumilla University.

In this regard, a gazette notification signed by deputy secretary of the education ministry Mahmudul Hasan has been issued.

"As per section 10 (1) of the Cumilla University Act, 2006, President and chancellor of Cumilla University appointed Dr Moyeen as Vice Chancellor for four years", read the notification. The incumbent VC Prof Emran Kabir Chowdhury's tenure will end on January 31.
