Workshop on accreditation standards held at BUP

Live Correspondent: A workshop titled “Bangladesh National Qualification Framework and Accreditation Standards & Criteria” was held at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
Office of the Evaluation, Faculty and Curriculum Development (OEFCD) and Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) jointly arranged the workshop at Bijoy Auditorium of BUP.
The purpose of this workshop was to present the importance, challenges, framework, and standards of accreditation in higher education.
Professor Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, member of Bangladesh Accreditation Council & Ex VC of Noakhali Science and Technology University, and Professor Dr. S M Kabir, member of Bangladesh Accreditation Council & Ex Professor of the University of Rajshahi, were present as the keynote speakers in the workshop.
BUP VC Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam was present as the chief guest while dean of OEFCD and Director of IQAC M Sharif Uddin Bhuiyan gave the vote of thanks speech as the session chair. Among others, BUP officials and teachers were present in the workshop.
