Alumni association of JU marketing department formed

 

JU Live: The marketing department of Jahangirnagar University formed a 12-members alumni association on Friday. President of the department associate Professor KashedulWahabTuhin has been made the convener of the association, which was declared in a meeting at the university’s business studies faculty building this day.

The other members of the committee are- joint-convener Ariful Islam Shiblu, Md. Ahsanuzzaman Khan, GM Ikram Uddin Shafi, Md. Zahirul Islam Shimul, NajibulHaque Biswas, LaijuTamanna, Md. Mujahidul Islam, Sifat Zaman Khan, Rabbi Ahsan, Prant Chandra Shil and SuraiyaKhanam.

Addressing the function, associate Professor Nilanjan Kumar Saha—who is the dean of the faculty of business studies said, ‘An alumni association plays a role in building bridges between former and current students of the department.’

Meanwhile, associate Professor Nigar Sultana, Md. ArifulHaque, Md. Rakibul Hasan, FarhanaSehreen, assistant Professor SajuSaha, Md. Shariful Islam, lecturer SabekunNaharShetu and Md. Mujahidul Islam among others was present at the event.
