Dhaka University to start classes for first year students on September 7

DU Live: The Dhaka University authorities have decided to start the classes of its first-year undergraduate students under 2021-22 academic sessions from September 7.
The decision came from the university's dean's committee meeting held on August 4, chaired by university Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md Akhtaruzzaman, said a press release.
The university also decided to refund the accommodation and transportation fees taken from the students during the Covid-19 pandemic period as the university and dormitories remained closed for a long period of time, added the release.
The students have been asked to collect the refund from their respective departments or institutes following proper procedures, added the release.
