National Mourning Day observed in Begum Rokeya University

 

BRU Live: Begum Rokeya University (BRU) observed National Mourning Day commemorating the 47th martyrdom of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Monday.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Hasibur Rashid and Pro-VC Dr. Sarifa Salowa Dina placed floral wreaths at the mural of Bangabandhu.

Later, representatives of faculties, departments, residential halls, teachers’ associations, officers’ associations, employees’ unions, journalists’ associations, and cultural bodies paid tribute to Bangabandhu.

Mourning rally, discussion meeting, and Milad and doa mahfil were also held to mark the Day.
