1st Public Administration day to be observed at Nazrul University Thursday

 

JKKNIU Live: The 1st Public Administration Day will be held on the Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University campus in Mymensingh on Thursday (08 September 2022).

The main theme of this day's celebration is 'Enhancing Knowledge on Digital Governance and Innovation in the age of 4IR'. With relevance to the theme, the Department of Public Administration and Governance Studies will celebrate its 12th year of establishment with much fanfare, enthusiasm and festivity.

The department chalked out a series of programmes including discussions and rallies to celebrate the anniversary as Public Administration Day.

A discussion meeting will be held at the Gahi Sammer Gaan Muktamancha at 11:00 am. Nazrul University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Soumitra Shekhar will attend the discussion meeting as the chief guest.

Mymensingh City Corporation Mayor Md Ekramul Haque Titu will join the programme as an inaugurator. Social Science Faculty Dean Dr Md Nazrul Islam and Registrar Dr Md Humayun Kabir will join as special guests.

Bangladesh Open University Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Nasim Banu will attend as the keynote speaker and Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme Project Director (Joint Secretary) Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabiras as a motivational speaker.

Head of the department Azizur Rahman will preside over the discussion meeting while Sanjay Kumar Mukherjee will deliver a welcome address and Shahjada Ahsan Habib will give the vote of thanks.

Md Harunur Rashid will moderate the meeting and a magazine will launch the programme. A cultural programme will also be held on the day.
