Prof Farid Ahmed takes over as JUJA advisor

 

Live Correspondent: Prof Dr Farid Ahmed of the Physics department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) was made the advisor of the Jahangirnagar University Journalists' Association (JUJA).

Executive members of JUJA nominated Professor Farid Ahmed as an adviser for the 2022-23 session at their meeting held on September 18.

Prof Dr Farid Ahmed took charge at the function held at the JUJA office on Wednesday.

Presided over by JUJA President Md Belal Hossain, JU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nurul Alam attended the function as the chief guest.

At the function, outgoing JUJA Adviser Professor Dr Sheikh Tawhidul Islam of the Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS handed over the charge to Prof Farid Ahmed Ahmed.

Professor Farid Ahmed Ahmed is now serving as the Controller of Examinations of Jahangirnagar University.

JU Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Sheikh Md Manzurul Huq and JU Acting Proctor ASM Firoj Ul Hasan spoke at the programme as special guests.

All JUJA members and campus correspondents of different online and print media were present at the function.
