MIST holds seminar on engineering mathematics

MIST Live: A seminar on 'Engineering Mathematics to Face IR 4.0 and Intra-MIST Math Olympiad 2022" was held at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in Mirpur Cantonment recently.
The Dept of Science and Humanities of MIST organized the program. MIST Commandant Major General Md Wahid-Uz-Zaman was present as chief guest.
Dr. Muhammed Zafar Iqbal, Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, and Dr. Manirul Alam Sarkar were the Keynote speakers.
The focus of this seminar is to stimulate interest in mathematics among the students, to interact with students of various departments, to sharpen and demonstrate their analytical and problem-solving skills, to bring together exceptionally talented pupils of various Departments of MIST, to make them conversant with the latest development and progress of technology and to create interest for comprehensive research activities.
For the first time, this Olympiad is organized in MIST, and MIST Math Olympiad Club always aim to provide complex problem-solving-loving students with a platform to show their passion, creativity, and enthusiasm for facing IR 4.0 challenges.
The Head of the Dept, Deans, Professors, the high rank of military and civil persons, and all faculty members of the university were also present.
