Workshop on quality education begins at RU

 

RU Live: A four-day-long workshop on quality education has started on Rajshahi University (RU) campus. RU Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) hosted the workshop with the theme "Quality assurance towards accreditation: Roles of different entities".

The university vice-chancellor Prof Golam Sabbir Sattar inaugurated the workshop on Monday morning.

He said, "It is necessary to ensure the quality of the institution in today's world to get recognition in the field of higher education. This requires an active role of various organs of the institution such as Faculties, Departments, and Institutes to ensure proper quality of teaching, research, and ancillary subjects. The workshop will play an important role in that goal."

IQAC director Prof Dulal Chandra Roy presided over the event, and additional director Prof Md Mashihur Rahman delivered the welcome speech. Another additional director Prof Abdur Rashid Sarkar conducted the workshop.

Besides, deans of different faculties, department heads, and others were present on the occasion.
