Admission tests of affiliated colleges, institutes of RU held

RU Live: The admission test took place at Dr. MA Wazed Mia Academic Building of the university on Friday at 11 am. The one-hour admission test ended at 12 pm.

Dr. AM Shahidul Alam, the college inspector of Rajshahi University, said that the admission test was held for the first time to bring 14 affiliated colleges of Rajshahi University under one umbrella.

He expressed hope that the meritorious students will be able to get admission in the affiliated colleges through the examination.

The pro-vice-chancellors Professor Md. Sultan Ul Islam and Professor Humayun Kabir and treasurer Professor Md. Abdur Rahman visited various rooms during the official examination.

At that time, among others, Engineering Faculty dean Professor Abu Zafar, Touhidul Islam, proctor Professor Asabul Haque, and public relations administrator Professor Pradeep Kumar Panday were present.

This time, 1,005 students initially applied against 1,700 seats in the admission test of affiliated colleges and institutes this year. Out of these 391 students participated in the examination.
