We would like to take NU to new heights

 

Live Correspondent: National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mashiur Rahman said his team is working to push the university to new heights.

He made the statement while addressing as chairman at the special senate session 2022 of the university at its campus at Gazipur in Dhaka on Saturday. He also presided over the program.

“We would like to take the National University to new heights. It is our expectation to turn National University into a national organization.

Various steps have already been adopted while many other initiatives are in the pipeline to materialize the dream.”

About promotional steps, he said the teachers have been imparted training in 16 fields while training on GIS and Remote Sensing, mental health, the history of the creation of Bangladesh, and other issues are in motion.

The university has initiated journals in Bengali and English, expansion of LAB-based education, science fair, research, and book writing project.

“Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a prudent, apt, confident, and charismatic leader.

She announced her new vision to create SMART BANGLADESH. We would like to contribute to the field by creating skilled manpower,” he said.
