SUST student dies ‘by suicide’

 

Live Correspondent: A student of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) is suspected to have died by suicide at his own home early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Minhazul Abedin, a student of Mathematics Department of the university and a resident of Salamatpur village of Manirampur Upazila of Jashore district.

 

SM Saidur Rahman, Assistant Professor of Mathmatics  department of the university, said Minhajul Abedin, a student of 2016-17 session of our department, committed suicide at his home around 3am on Thursday.

His mother informed the matter in the morning over phone, he said. However, Minhaz was founder president of university’s robotics related organization ‘Roboadda’.
