Proctor among 17 resign from CU admin posts

 

Live Correspondent: Proctor, assistant proctor, provost of residential hall and 15 others of Chittagong University (CU) administration have resigned from their administrative posts.

Acting registrar of CU KM Nur Ahmed on Sunday said proctor Dr. Rabiul Hasan Bhuiya and assistant proctor Dr. Shahidul Islam submitted their resignation letters at 1.30 pm on Sunday.

Besides, 15 teachers, who holding 17 administrative posts of the university, have submitted their resignation letters to the registrar at around 1:30 p.m.

However, the reason behind their resignation could not be known immediately but each of them citing personal reasons in the resignation letters.

Earlier on March 7, CU 1st female assistant proctor and assistant professor of Chemistry Department Mariam Islam resigned from her post.
