Jail Killing Day observed at IU

Live Correspondent: The Jail Killing Day was observed by the Islamic University (IU) authority here in Kushtia today with due solemnity. Marking the day, IU authority organized a rally to show respect to the departed souls in front of the administrative building of the university at around 11:15 am.
Vice-chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari led the rally that paraded different parts on the campus.
IU pro vice-chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Prof DR M Selim Toha and its acting registrar S M Abdul Latif participated the rally along with more than 200 hundred officials of the university.
A Doa Mahfil was also held at the administrative building seeking eternal peace for the departed souls of the four national leaders who were brutally assassinated in Dhaka jail on this day in 1975.
