Live Correspondent: Bangladesh women’s national soccer team skipper Sabina Khatun has received her AFCB certificate coaching license. She received the certificate of the coaching license from Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) technical and strategic director Paul Smalley on Thursday last.

Besides, Bangladesh women’s team assistant coach Litu received his AFC A certificate coaching license along with Sabina. The country’s most prolific striker Sabina, who aspires to build a coaching career after finishing her playing career, completed her B certificate course under Paul Smalley during the first ever AFC B certificate coaching course arranged by the BFF.

The first phase of the course was held from October 14-24, 2017. Then it ended with the second phase held from March 24 to April 2, 2018. The striker was very happy to receive her certificate and looks forward to further improve her coaching credentials while continuing her playing career at the same time.

Sabina also participated in the first ever BFF AFC instructors course held from December 10-14 in 2017. Sabina’s colleague Mirona also clutched an AFC B certificate and became the first female coach of Bangladesh to manage a men’s team.

Mirona managed Dhaka City FC in the recently finished Bangladesh Championship League 2018-19 where her team finished eighth.
