Mominul to lead Bangladesh A against HP Unit

 

Sports Live: The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Monday announced a 15-member Bangladesh A squad for their upcoming two four-day and three 50-over matches against BCB High-Performance Unit.

Mominul Haque was named as skipper of the team while experienced Imrul Kayes was picked only for the one-day matches of the series.

Bangladesh A team will travel to Chattogram on September 12 as they will start the series with two four-day matches at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

The first four-day match is scheduled for September 16-19 while the second game is slated from September 23-26.

The three one-day matches will be played respectively on September 30, October 2, and 4. Bangladesh A team camp was earlier postponed due to a coronavirus scare last month.

Bangladesh A team:  Mominul Haque(capt), Saif Hassan, Shadman Islam, Najmul Hossain, Yasir Ali, Mohammad Mithun, Irfan Sukkur, Mehidy Hasan, Nayeem Hasan, Ebadot Hossain, Abu Jayed, Khaled Ahmed, Kamrul Islam, Shohidul Islam and Imrul Kayes (one-day matches only).

BCB High Performance squad: Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Munim Shaharier, Shahadat Hossain, Mahmudul Hasan, Towhid Hridoy, Anisul Islam, Imranuzzaman Imran, Akbar Ali, Minhajul Abedin Afridi, Rakibul Hasan, Hasan Morad, Tanvir Islam, Rishad Hossain, Shafiqul Islam, Mukidul Islam, Tanzim Hasan, Shahin Alom, Sumon Khan, Noman Chowdhury, Rejaur Rahman and Ruhel Mia.
