Sports Live: Chattogram Challengers English recruit Will Jacks hogged the spotlight during his team’s practice session on Monday as he broke a glass located at the pathway that connects the outer Stadium to the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

The 23-year-old, who is the leading run-scorer in the ongoing BPL so far with 280 runs in eight matches, smashed one of Enamul Haque Jr’s deliveries so hard that it crashed into a glass. However, none was injured because of his hit.

The match between Fortune Barishal and Comilla Victorians was going on at the main ground at the time and the sound of breaking glass caught the attention of the media present at the press box suddenly.

Apart from Jacks, Chattogram’s other foreign recruit Chadwick Walton also hit another big one later in the day which caused an arm injury to the SICS venue manager Joydeb Das.

Joydeb, who had slight bruising, took first aid before he returned to his regular job.
