Army wins inter-service hokey title

Sports Live: Bangladesh Army team clinched the Inter-Service Hockey title which concluded at Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium on Thursday under the arrangement of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF). Bangladesh Navy team became runner-up, said a press release here today.

Bangladesh Army team defeated Bangladesh Navy team by 5-3 goals in tie- breaker. The match was 2-2 draws in scheduled time. Lance Corporal Ahsan of Bangladesh Army was adjudged the best player of the competition.

Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal Md Shafiqul Alam was present as the chief guest while officers of three services and other
members were present on the occasion.
