"DU researchers report on Milk totally untrue"

Business Live: State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Swapan Bhattacharjee on Thursday said some dishonest businessmen are spreading propaganda about pasteurized milk products of the country.

He made the remark during budget session for fiscal 2019-2020 at the national parliament on Thursday. During his speech at the parliament, Swapan Bhattacharjee claimed that Dhaka University’s report on milk products is ‘totally untrue’.

“Some dishonest businessmen presented a DU report and said there are antibiotics, detergent and other forms of hazardous bacterial organisms in the pasteurized milk products. It (the report) is totally untrue,” he said.
