Rajibpur Border Haat is opening on November 30

Kurigram Live: After three years, the India-Bangla Border Haat is finally opening. Due to the corona pandemic, the Border Haat was shut down; it will reopen on November 30. This decision was reached during a joint meeting between Bangladesh and India on Tuesday (November 15).

The affair has been confirmed by Bangladesh's Kurigram District Commissioner Rezaul Karim and the South Ampati District Commissioner of India G. Kharmawphlang.

Kurigram Deputy Commissioner Rezaul Karim, Additional District Magistrate Khandkar Mudachir Bin Ali, Rajibpur Upazila Chairman Akbar Hossain Hero, Upazila Executive Officer Amit Chakraborty, Rajibpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mojaharul Islam, Upazila Awami League President Vir Muktijoddha Abdul Hai participated on behalf of Bangladesh. South Ampati District Commissioner G Kharmaoflang, Additional District Commissioner K Sangma, and Additional District Magistrate Mrs. Lina participated in the discussion on behalf of India.

Besides, the BGB and BSF of the two countries and traders from Border Haat were present.
