No mask, no entry to DU campus

DU Live; No one will be allowed to enter the Dhaka University campus without wearing a mask in an effort to fight coronavirus.

The restriction came into force from Friday, said DU Proctor Prof AKM Golam Rabbani.

He also said no outsider can enter the campus after 6pm without any valid reason.

There will be surveillance at the entrances of the university to enforce the restrictions, the proctor said.

He said they took the decision in line with the government directive to chase way to the coronavirus.

The university remained shut since March 19 last following the coronavirus prevalence. Its dormitories also remained closed.

However, official activities are running on a limited scale.
