Educational institutions to reopen on May 23

Live Correspondent: All educational institutions in the country will be reopened from May 23 as per previous decision of the Education Ministry. Secondary and Higher Education secretary Md Mahbub Hossain said the authorities of the institutions have been directed to take necessary preparations for reopening their respective educational institutions.
He said, "We are continuing online classes. Besides, the student are being given assignments at homes which is temporary postponed for the ongoing lockdown."
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has already gave directives to the authorities concerned including the heads of the educational institutions to take necessary preparations to start the learning activities by reopening all the government and non-government secondary and higher secondary educational institutions.
After detection of first COVID-19 patient on March 8 last year, the government declared closure of all educational institutions from March 17 that year.
