36 people lost lives during flood

 

Live Correspondent: A total of 36 people lost lives due to flood in Sylhet, Mymensingh and Rangpur divisions of the country. The deaths were counted from May 17 to June 21.

Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed this information in a statement on country's flood on Tuesday.

The statement said some 15 people died in Mymensingh division, three died in Rangpur division and 18 died in Sylhet division.

Of the deceased, one died of snake bite, 17 by drowning and 18 for other flood-related reasons.
