Bangladeshi student wins ‘Huntley Schaller Award’

Live Correspondent: Fabiha Bushra, a Bangladeshi student at Carleton University of Canada, has been awarded with the prestigious “Huntley Schaller Award”. Fabiha, a student at the Economics Department of the university, won the award for the year 2019 for the best research paper in Economics, a press release said here today.

The award is given to an outstanding graduate student annually by the Dean
of Graduate and Post Doctoral Affairs on the recommendations of the Chair of
the Department of Economics, the release said.

Fabiha, who hails from Chunati under Lohagara upazila in Chattogram, completed her MA in Economics this year from the Carleton University. “She has been accepted for PhD Programme in Economics commencing from Fall
2019,” the release added.
