Reopening of educational institutions may delay

Live Correspondent: The date of reopening educational institutions may be delayed if the Covid-19 infection rate in the country continues to rise. Education Minister Dipu Moni came up with the disclosure to media on Friday afternoon following a growing number of Covid-19 cases in recent days.

She said, “Safety of students, teachers and other concerned comes first. We are monitoring the overall situation. The date of reopening educational institutions may be deferred if the corona infection continues to rise” Earlier on 27 February, the government had announced to reopen all primary, secondary and higher secondary educational institutions on March 30.
