2nd virtual conference of NSU

 

NSU Live: Coronavirus (Covid-19) is an emerging security threat for humankind. Millions of people have already been infected and several hundred thousand died from Covid-19 across the world. The death rate is alarming and changing every day. As such, NSU's Center for Peace Studies (CPS)/South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) is organizing 2nd virtual conference on this critical issue.

Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Executive Director, Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh will be present as Poverty and Inequality Speaker, Ambassador Shahidul Haque, Senior Fellow, SIPG, North South University will be present as Migration and Remittance Speaker, Professor Helal Mohiuddin, Member, CPS, North South University will be present as Covid-19 and the Generational Divide Speaker and Mr. Giorgi Gigauri, Chief of Mission, IOM (UN Migration Agency) Bangladesh, Dr. Nazneen Ahmed, Senior Research Fellow, Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) and Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh will be present as Discussants. Professor Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of North South University will chair the event.
