NSU Organized: ‘Scopus, research metrics and its impact on NSU research'

 

 

NSU Live: The first private university and the number one ranked private university in Bangladesh, North South University Library organized a discussion session on ‘Scopus, research metrics and its impact on NSU research' recently.

Mr. Vishal Gupta, Senior Customer Consultant - South Asia, Academic & Government Accounts, Elsevier, India was present as the Keynote Speaker. Dr. M. Ismail Hossain, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NSU chaired the session. All Deans, Chairs, Directors (academic), and Young Faculty members from the different departments participated in the session. At the end of the session Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain Shoeb, NSU Librarian thanked guests, session chair, participants, and all concerned.

The NSU Library has been using "Scopus", an Abstract & Citation Database for NSU faculty members, researchers, and students from the year 2017. It helps to make the research workflow more efficient and empowers institutions to bolster performance, ranking, and reputation.
