Patrick re-appointed as Notre Dame University VC

Live Correspondent: Notre Dame University Bangladesh vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Father Patrick Daniel Gaffney has been reappointed as the vice-chancellor of the university.
A gazette notification was issued by Education Ministry in this regard, said a press release on Thursday.
A Holy Cross Priest, Father Patrick Gaffney was born and brought up in the USA. He obtained his MA and Ph.D. degrees in Anthropology from the University of Chicago, BA in Classical and Modern Languages and Literature, and MA in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, US.
With a vast experience of 37 years in teaching, research, and administration at the University of Notre Dame, US, he was also a visiting professor at Dhaka University from 2012-2013.
On August 8, 2017, Father Patrick was initially appointed as the VC of NDUB by President Md. Abdul Hamid.
