Faculty orientation, workshop held at North South University

 

NSU Live: A two day–long faculty orientation and development workshop for Summer and Fall 2022 were held at North South University recently.

A notable number of full-time and adjunct faculty members joined the orientation workshop organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).

The objective of the program was to make the new faculty members aware of the NSU rules and regulations, and available services and to discuss outcome based teaching and assessment methods, curriculum development, research opportunities etc.

NSU pro-vice chancellorProfessor Dr. M. Ismail Hossain welcomed the new faculty members and discussed the concepts of ethics in teaching.

The deans from School of Business and Economics, School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, School of Humanities and Social Sciences and School of Health and Life Sciences talked about their respective schools and discussed the importance of faculty training programs.

The program was moderated by the IQAC director Professor Dr. Nazmun Nahar.
