2 students of RU, PUST commit suicide in Jashore, Chapainawabganj

 

RU & PUST Live: Two students of Rajshahi University and Pabna University of Science and Technology committed suicide in separate incidents in Jashore and Chapainawabganj.

In Jashore, RU student Imrul Kayes, son of Shahidullah, reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house at Ganganandapur village in Jhikargacha Upazila early Friday.

In Chapainawbganj, police recovered the hanging body of PUST student Tahmidur Rahman Jamil, 22, son of Bajlur Rahman, from a dormitory in Shalgarhia Merill Bypass area on Thursday night.

Jamil was a second-year student of the Department of Civil Engineering of the university.
