Primary Schools teachers to get vaccine in a week

 

Live Correspondent: State Minister for Primary and Mass Education M Zakir Hossen on Tuesday said all the teachers of primary schools will get Covid-19 vaccine in a week.

He made the remarks after receiving his first dose of the jab at the Secretariat Clinic.

The state minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked him to take vaccine doses for the teachers as schools will reopen anytime. “We want to ensure so that no teacher remains out of vaccination.”

He said the prime minister has already directed the Health Ministry for giving vaccine to teachers.

Zakir Hossen also thanked Sheikh Hasina for bringing the vaccine before many other countries.

He urged teachers, those under his ministry and people aged above 40 years to take the jab.
