Bangladesh logged an additional 97 Covid-19 deaths and 3,306 infections in the past 24 hours on Monday counting the death toll to 11,150 and infections to 748,628 in the country. A Directorate General of Health Services handout came up with the latest Covid-19 update.

Among the deceased, 61 were male 36 female patients. Some 25,786 specimens were tested in the timeline at 350 labs across the country. Bangladesh had tested a total of 53,71,287 specimens as of April 26.   

A total of 4,241 patients were declared free from novel coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours totalling the recovery to 661,693.

Bangladesh on March 8, 2020 reported the first Covid-19 positive cases while the first death was logged ten days later on March 18, 2020.
