Khulna reports highest-ever 60 deaths from Covid-19

Khulna Live: Khulna on Wednesday reported the highest-ever 60 coronavirus or Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours. Besides, 1, 900 more people tested positive for the virus, raising the number of total cases to 63,934.
A total of 60 people died from coronavirus infections in the division over the period, taking the number of total deaths to 1, 325.
Apart from this, 42,844 people have been cured of the disease. Dr. Rasheda Sultana, divisional director of health, confirmed this information.
Of the deceased, twenty-one from Khulna, eleven from Kushtia, seven from Jhenaidah, six from Jashore, five from Chuadanga, four from Narail, three from Bagerhat, two from Meherpur, and one from Magura.
Khulna reported its first Coronavirus case on March 19 last year. Earlier, the Khulna division reported the highest number of coronavirus (Covid-19) deaths on Monday.
